What we collect
- Forms: when you request a sample, subscribe or request a market, we collect your name, business name, email, optional phone, the markets and plan you chose, and anything you write in the notes.
- Email and WhatsApp: messages you send us and our replies.
- Website analytics: if analytics are enabled on the site, we collect anonymous usage data (pages viewed, approximate location by country or region, device type). We do not use advertising cookies.
- Payments: payments are handled by Payoneer. We see the payment confirmation and the details needed to issue an invoice; we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
To send you the sample or lead sheets you asked for, to invoice and support your subscription, to answer your questions, to improve the Service, and to send occasional emails about the Service. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; transactional emails (your sheets, invoices) continue while you are subscribed.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the providers we need to run the Service (email delivery, form handling, payment processing, analytics), who may only use it to provide their service to us.
Builder and contractor data
The permit records and contact details in our sheets are drawn from public government records and public business listings. Builders can ask for their contact details to be removed from future sheets by emailing us.
Keeping and protecting your data
We keep account and invoicing records for as long as you are a customer and afterwards as required for tax and accounting. Sample requests that do not become subscriptions are deleted within twelve months. Data is stored with reputable providers that use encryption in transit and at rest.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe from marketing at any time by emailing info@buildpermitsignal.com. We will answer within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top shows the current version and we will email subscribers about material changes.
